Venkata Ramana Mallela, a second year PhD student from the Translational Cancer Genomics team, attended The European Association for the Study of the Liver (EASL) 2024 from June 5 to 8 held in Milano, Italy. This congress it was completely devoted to liver cancer research and all of his aspects – basic, clinical and translational research. More than 7000 specialists from around the globe attended this meeting, offering over 2500 abstracts and 190 scientific sessions. It was a great opportunity to meet experts in the field and explore collaboration possibilities. Venkata presented his work in form of a poster called: Small nucleolar RNA expression and their prognostic values in non-viral hepatocellular carcinoma.
