The conference on Current Understanding of Colorectal and Pancreatic Cancer (CUCAP) organized by Chaperon under the patronage of Prof. Kari Jussi Hemminki, ERA Chair holder, took place in Prague on May 29th and 30th, 2023. Leading cancer researchers from across Europe accepted our invitation and introduced their work, covering the areas of cancer epidemiology, cancer genetics and epigenetics, microbiome, treatment and translational aspects. The full list of speakers, many of whom are long-term collaborators of Chaperon researchers, can be seen on the CUCAP website. Apart from that, the poster section allowed younger scientists (including Chaperon doctoral students) to present their contributions.
