Ph.D. positions in Laboratory of Translational Cancer Genomics

The Laboratory of Translational Cancer Genomics lead by Professor Kari Hemminki invites qualified candidates to apply for a five Ph.D. positions in Cancer Research (Genomics, Transcriptomics, and Immunology). The candidates will join multi-disciplinary team focusing on:

  • patient-oriented cancer genomics
  • genomic factors in tumorigenesis and epithelial-mesenchymal transition
  • hereditary cancer genomics and epidemiology
  • application of advanced genomics methods in clinical screening and decision-making
  • targeted treatment based on mutations in tumors following the precision medicine guidelines

The working place of successful candidates is Laboratory of Translational Cancer Genomics, Biomedical Center, Faculty of Medicine in Plzen, Charles University, Czech Republic.

  5. MicroRNA pro­filing in hepatocellular carcinoma – Filip Ambrozkiewicz Ph.D.
