In September, the annual ranking of world leading universities and scientists was announced by Research.com. Charles University ranked as number 1 in the Czech Republic and as number 440 in comparison of all universities around the world. Moreover, it was also evaluated as the best university in the field of Medicine and Genetics (and several other fields) in our country.
Most importantly, two of our Chaperon Team members scored in the „Best Scientists“ ranking. MUDr. Ludmila Vodičková, CSc. came in the 30th place with her H-index of 45 and 6639 citations. And we are very proud to announce that our Era Chair Holder, Prof. Kari Jussi Hemminki, MD, Ph.D., ranked as the best scientists of the Charles University in 2023 with H-index as high as 123 and 83 446 citations! However, the reseults was not a surprise as Kari was ranked no. 1 in medicine in the Czech Republic in 2022.
