Chaperon Scientists and Students take part in the Heidelberg Liver Cancer Research Conference 2023

The 2nd Liver Cancer Research Conference took place in Heidelberg, Germany, in October. Members of Laboratory of Translational Cancer Genomics participated in this events and presented 2 posters. The first poster, called „miRNA as prospective biomarkers for non-viral hepatocellular carcinoma“ was presented by Venkata Ramana Mallela. Esraa Ali presented her work on the prognostic role of adaptive and innate immune cells in hepatocellular carcinoma. She says: „Attending the 2nd International Liver Cancer Conference in Heidelberg was a valuable experience and offered me a unique opportunity to network, collaborate, and discover new research in liver cancer. In this scientific community, I met spectacular scientists who enriched and still contribute to the field.“
