Marie Rajtmajerová has completed scientific stay in Regensburg

Marie Rajtmajerová, third year doctoral student in The Translational Cancer Genomics Lab, has completed her scientific stay in Regensburg, Germany. She visited a biochemical laboratory which is a part of Medical Faculty of University Regensburg and is led by prof. Gunter Meister, a respected scientist in the field of RNA.

„I am very thankfull for the experience I could gain through my stay in Regensburg. I participated in one of the ongoing projects in the hosting laboratory which gave me an opportunity to learn RNA sequencing technique. And thanks to the fact that the hosting laboratory is oriented in the same topic as ours but through biochemical approach, I also had a chance to see methods which are not commonly done in our lab, but have a great potential for my future work.“

The scientific stay was supported by Mobility Fund of Charles University and by PPSŘ Fund of the Medical Faculty in Pilsen.
